Vancouver Animal Wellness
Hospital
|
We chose to use a vet who
supported and encouraged our choices to feed our animals a raw diet, to
treat them using natural and/or homeopathic cures and to have our pet’s antibodies tested
(titer test) before making decisions about booster vaccines. Dr
Michael Goldberg and Dr Sue Hughson are not only very fine conventional veterinarians but
are also extensively qualified and experienced in Veterinary Homeopathy.

by the team at www.vancouveranimalwellness.com. |

Our logo was designed by a
wonderful & talented fine-artist in Seattle called Kamala, who can be
found at www.kamaladolphinkingsley.com. She says her artwork is
inspired by horticulture, marine biology, art nouveau, stained glass,
mythology, old books for kids, fantastical creatures and "in general
by the amazing and bizarre wonders of nature including my dog Ziggy".
She accepts commissions for pet portraits, fine art and illustrations -
and is an active and popular member of the local art scene in
Seattle....in between taking great pleasure in the oddities of her new dog

We love to get away from it all
sometimes, and we love to take our furry family with us. There is no
view and sunset finer than at www.sunsetcovecottages.com
- and they're always happy to welcome well-behaved pets too. Ten beautiful
ocean-side acres await you in Halfmoon Bay on the Sunshine Coast. A secluded cove nestles two private houses, both offer views of spectacular sunsets over the Malaspina Strait with Texada Island in the backdrop. You have your choice of a three-bedroom house or a boathouse studio apartment as your exclusive destination where you can relax and explore the Sunshine Coast. |

We sell and recommend Club
Canine products and they can be found at www.clubcanine.net. Club Canine is located in the beautiful country mountains in Mission, BC.
They have been providing high quality raw pet food since 1996 and they
firmly believe that the diet you supply to your pet plays an extremely important role in your pets' happiness, energy factor and most importantly his/her overall health. Club Canine's goal is to provide quality meats at affordable prices.
Their edge over the competition comes from the fact that their packaging comes in convenient single servings
all the way up to bulk 4.5 kg packages for multiple or more cost-conscious
dog owners. Their meats are all human grade and/or hormone free. |

www.bluffhollow.ca
- Rick and Ann Harmer give Silas (their Canine Concierge) full credit for leading them to the decision to relocate to the Sunshine Coast. He was still a puppy in the summer of 2003 when the couple took him on a camping trip to nearby Katherine Lake. Silas had so much fun learning to swim, and the Harmers found the area so quiet and peaceful, they decided it was time to leave the city and create a dog-friendly bed and breakfast.
They found the ideal spot and set about creating the perfect retreat for dogs and their owners.
Rick is a talented gourmet cook, having taken numerous cooking courses over the years — he prepares the sumptuous breakfasts served to our guests.
Ann is a freelance writer and editor and a Master Gardener (through VanDusen Gardens in Vancouver). She's enjoying the challenge of learning to share her garden space with the area's wildlife and delights in growing fresh herbs and vegetables for the table. |
